Album Release Campaign
I developed a multi-channel campaign to support the release of indie pop artist Kit Citrine’s debut album and singles.
INDUSTRY: Entertainment, Music
CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES: Establish artist brand; More than 25,000 Spotify Streams
MY INVOLVEMENT: I created a full communications strategy for the roll-out of Kit’s first 3 singles and debut album. I created the graphics and wrote the copy for their website, all their social media posts, their email marketing efforts, and pitches for Spotify playlists.
RESULTS: Established presence on all social networks and streaming platforms; Midnight Masquerade album received over 170,000 Spotify Streams since its debut.
FAN COMMUNICATION
This email required a casual, friendly tone in the voice of the artist. We wanted to make sure all the links for the appropriate platforms were included as not every fan has access to every app.

Long and short Bios
I wrote versions of Kit’s biography in multiple formats for all the different places it would be needed. This includes a long-form bio for journalists, short-form bios for events and promotions, and a Spotify bio.

CAPTIONS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA
Here’s a fun post that shows how well Kit’s music did. I wrote the caption to correspond with the graphics. It needed a casual, friendly tone in the artist’s voice.
HR Recruitment Campaign
I partnered with the Talent Management (HR) department for a multi-channel recruitment campaign to encourage applicants for entry-level Trial Clerk and Deputy Clerk positions.

CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES: Encourage more applications for entry-level roles, establish online presence and create positive brand awareness, improve perception and morale among current employees
MY INVOLVEMENT: After consulting with the team and learning about their current state and needs, I created a full communications strategy based on the team’s objectives. I interviewed employees identified by Talent Management for a short video series and flyers that would be distributed digitally and in office. I recorded their interviews and used the information they shared along with job descriptions supplied by Talent Management to create the video series, flyers, social media posts, blurbs for the internal newsletter, pop-up banners for hiring events, a new logo, a slogan, and web copy for a newly created section on the website. I wrote all the copy, designed all the graphics, and edited the videos. Everything I created was reviewed and approved by Talent Management, my Communications Director, and Senior Leadership.
RESULTS: Increased applications for these roles, collateral available for job fairs which increased engagement, positive feedback from current employees

MY INVOLVEMENT: I wrote newsletters like this every week with a new employee. I’d interview them, format the questions, design the email, get approvals from stakeholders and send it off.
